Our mission is to educate the public on the invaluable contributions Quebec and Canada brought to the field of aviation and to inspire future generations to value, protect and promote this heritage.

Our vision is to be the pre-eminent aviation museum and aircraft restoration centre in the province of Quebec. Our aim is to be the primary partner in aviation heritage preservation for scholars, government entities and the aerospace community.

To achieve this vision, the Montreal Aviation Museum (MAM) will execute on the following goals by 2030:

• Educate the public on Quebec’s contribution to aviation history in Canada and internationally.

• Enhance the visitor experience by introducing visitors to the wonders of flight through its collection of artifacts, including antique aircraft and its aviation art gallery.

• Engage youth by developing educational programs in collaboration with schools, colleges and universities.

• Establish formal and long-term partnerships with public institutions and actors in the aerospace industry.

• Seek broad community involvement, augment and diversify the Museum’s volunteer base; maintain partnerships with other organizations engaged in the historical, arts and culture sectors.
