HOLIDAY CHEER THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
Every year we hold our Holiday Nuts and Cakes Campaign from mid-October through to the end of December. This is one of our major fundraisers and contributes greatly to the funds we give out to local non-profit community organizations. Through these organizations countless children and youth receive support and services which enhance their lives throughout the year.

Actions beyond auctions
Just in time for the festive season, this event is an opportunity to shop for a cause, and you are invited to get in on the auction action. Included in our long list of items are unique events with two extraordinary entertainers. Montreal based Crooner-Singer Matt Mardini presents a Virtual Interactive Private Concert and Florida based Mio the Mentalist & Magician presents an interactive Zoom Show.

Kiwanis Helps the homeless
With our traditional fundraising plans put on hold we began to re-imagine our fundraising. This Kiwanis Helps the Homeless - GoFundMe Campaign is the first of our new fundraising strategies.
This initiative was inspired by the tremendous need to provide a safe place for homeless youth in the West Island.
The Peter Bedard Memorial Golf Tournament
The 2020 tournament has been cancelled for health concerns of our gracious supporters and members during the uncertainty surrounding the Coronavirus Pandemic. The funds normally derived from the tournament are very important to the ongoing support of the children served by the beneficiary non-profit organizations who would have benefitted.

The 2019 Holiday Sales Campaign encompassing the sales of our renowned Nuts & Cakes as well as several other delicious edibles took place over the period from October 1st through December 31st with requests still coming in through the month of January…
Mid-Summer Soiree
Our annual MSS is a social event to inform the community of our club and what we do as well as serving as our main Membership Drive. Held at the magnificent Stewart Hall in Pointe Claire on August 28th, the event was attended by about 100 people including numerous Kiwanis members. 20th Annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament
Our 20th Annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament is our other major fundraiser and took place on June 18, 2019 at the newly renovated Summerlea Golf & Country Club. This tournament again raised in excess of $20,000.00; a huge accomplishment considering the loss of our most prolific fundraiser, the late Peter Bedard who has been a member since the very beginning of our club….
