Boys to Men Canada
John Closs is a co-founder and Director of Boys to Men Canada.
He has been heavily involved in BTM's Adventure Weekend program, as well as its after school program, and since its inception at Riverdale High School. This involvement continued when the school was closed and moved to Pierrefonds Community High, which he hopes to return to "in-school" in the fall. The program has operated virtually for the past two years.
Since retiring, he has become a Director of Mankind Project Canada and of MKP Quebec, organizations which provide a place for men to talk and work on the issues in their lives.
John has been married 49 years, with two grown children. He has been active in the Lachine community on various school committees and as a past-chair of the Canada Day Committee. John's strength lies in his ability to see another's point of view, to build trust and to create a safe space to bring people together.
Boys to Men Canada is a registered federal charity created to guide adolescent boys on their journey to manhood.
Our mission is to help boys become good men, and we are dedicated to providing this opportunity to every boy in need.
