RYAN ROSS-THE UNTOUCHABALLS 

 My name is Ryan Ross and on March 2, 2022, I had a stroke that left my left side paralyzed at the age of 18. That event led to a diagnosis of testicular cancer. Though the news was tragic I was fortunate to have the support of my friends and family, not to mention the excellent medical care I received during my many months of recovery. My journey is not yet over, but I want to help others who may be in the same situation but do not have the support system that I am blessed with. I have chronicled my journey on my YouTube page. 

For a second year, I will be participating in the BDO Cedars CanSupport Dragon Boat Race. Taking place Saturday, September 9, 2023, in Lachine this event brings together our community, all of whom has the common goal of raising funds for Cedars CanSupport, which has, and continues to; provide free psychological, emotional, practical, and financial support to cancer patients and their families, one person at a time, for the past 30 years. 

As a participant, we are tasked with fundraising in support of Cedars CanSupport. I am reaching out to you today to ask you to join me in my journey by helping me to achieve my goal. Last year my team and I were able to raise over $24 000 and we hope to surpass that goal this year. Any help you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated by all of us involved.
