Sheryl Guloy, PhD, is a founder and the president of Somnolence + Inc. and a founder and board member of Fondation Somnolence Canada/ Somnolence Canada Foundation, organizations which promote the importance of good sleep through public awareness, education, coaching, and research.
She obtained her doctorate in education at Simon Fraser University, with her research focusing on the intersection of learning design and technology, human performance improvement, and nonprofit leadership. In regard to sleep, she has conducted sleep mobile app research. She also obtained her M.A. in educational technology and her B. Comm, with a major in international business and a minor in marketing, both from Concordia University.
In 2023, she joined Kiwanis after learning about its mission, and she enjoys serving the community alongside fellow Kiwanians.
