Mid-Summer Soirée

The 2018 edition of the Mid-Summer Soirée has come and gone. Many thanks to all who joined us on August 29th at Stewart Hall, we hope you enjoyed yourselves and learned a little about our club along the way.

We were thrilled to have well known comedian and humanitarian Joey Elias as our emcee for the third consecutive year. He was wonderful, engaging with the crowd and offering some well-placed quips; we were lucky to have him. The music was also terrific.

The evening's primary goal is to spread the word about our local Kiwanis club and recruit new members and volunteers who are ready to roll up their sleeves and give back to our community. We invite all attendees, and all other good intentioned West Islanders, to join us for lunch or dinner meeting to learn more.

It goes without saying that this event could not have taken place without the direction of our organizing committee, our volunteers and sponsors.

Thanks again to all who attended. We hope to see you again next year!
